Who could hold his own against Thom Yorke?
Okay, I personally feel that Thom Yorke is a tough dude, but then I wondered how some of my other favorite singers would fare against him in a street brawl:
Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse) v. Thom Yorke
Beck v. Thom Yorke
Paul Banks (Interpol) v. Thom Yorke
Jack White v. Thom Yorke Current Mood: curious

Robert & Satchel from "Get Fuzzy" Vs. John Arbuckle & Garfield from "Garfield"?
Denis & Ruff from "Dennis The Menace" Vs. Calvin & Hobbes from "Calvin & Hobbes"?
Huey from "The Boondocks" Vs. Jason from "FoxTrot"?
Ideas? Outcomes? Other funny pages match ups? Current Mood: cheerful

maybe someone somewhere here will find this interesting...
hello! my name is ben or trent or whatever,
and i have just started a new community on livejournal entitled catchphrases
the idea of it is to get people from all over to come together
and share the catchphrases that they find themselves using in their own lives.
membership is at an all time low, meaning just me as of this post...
but i have big plans and even bigger dreams for it!
so if this sounds interesting to you, please join
and post any catchphrases you regularly hear or say,
and maybe someday we can have, like, 10 members,
and then we can all get some new phrases in our lives.
thank you for your time.

Holier than thou...
In the red corner we have Jesus, son of The Father aka. God.
In the blue corner we have Hercules, son of Zeus aka. God of the Gods.
Jesus is the son of a god and a mortal.
Herc is the son of a god and a mortal.
Jesus is known for being able to turn normal ordinairy water into an endless supply of wine and for walking on water.
Herc is known for god like strength and for having completed 12 daunting tasks set forth by Zeus.
Both are champions of the people, both were forced to suffer, face off against insurmountable odds, and eventually gave thier lives for the good of the people.
Jeus was a pacafistic prophet.
Herc was a rightchous ass kicker.
Jesus appearntly had magical powers, while Herc used his physical strength, agility, and determination to take out creatures that typically had migical powers.
Son which of these demi-dieties do you think would kick the most ass? Current Mood: contemplative

Neo (Mind over matter guy) & Agent Smith (Brute force guy)
Yoda (Mind over matter guy) & Jango Fett (Brute force guy)
I'd say Jango kills the agent, Neo kills Jango, and then Neo & Yoda take turns fighting & throwing stuff at each other till they are both exhausted, then decide to go out for a few beers and ta use thier mental powers to get a couple chiks.
>=0) Current Mood: devious

Hi all! I'm slightly afraid that I might not be geeky enough for this community, but what the heck! Here's a few battles I've been thinking of...
Brain from "Pinky and the Brain" vs. Dexter from "Dexter's Laboratory."
Padme/Amidala vs. Leia. I'm more interested in how hair would be used in fighting than the actual outcome...
Bart Simpson vs. Ted Kennedy. I'm really not sure where that one came from, but it's fun to imagine. Current Mood: silly

Alright, here's the deal. Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. No I dont really care about the outcome of the fight. I have a better question to pose.
Since they're actually both the same person, how would the fight take place.
I'll post my idea in a while. Hint: it involves the theory of relativity.
